| TUSCULUM WRAPS UP HOME-STAND WITH 7-5 WIN
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Maikol Gonzalez drove home the game-winning run in the eighth inning with his RBI base hit as the Tusculum baseball team defeated Montevallo, 7-5 at Pioneer Park. With the victory the Pioneers (23-10) complete the two-game sweep of the Falcons (20-15) and ending an 11-game home-stand with a 9-2 slate. Tusculum jumped out early with four runs in the bottom of the third as Matt Webb (Duluth, Ga.) and Brandon Behenna (Sharpsburg, Ga.) posted RBI hits, while taking advantage of a fielding error to lead 4-0. The score would remain that way until the sixth when Montevallo answered with a four-spot as Chris Cooper (Madison, Ala.) and B.J. Holloway (Klamath Falls, Oregon) had RBI singles and Brantly Clay (Columbus, Miss.) was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Lady rally does in Spoon River
The Lincoln College Lady Lynx took the lead with six runs in the sixth and scored two insurance run in the seventh to beat the Spoon River College Lady Mudcats 10-7 Tuesday afternoon at Athletic Park. SRC had taken a 7-2 lead with six runs in the fourth inning.The visitors plated their first run in the second on a walk, an error, and a two-out hit from Gabrielle Niewinski. Coach Larry Warden's club though tied the game in the bottom of the inning when Chelsea Hurd scored when the Lincoln third baseman made a high throw to first on a ground ball hit by Lindsay Robbins.Coach John Andrews' team regained the lead with a run in the third. With one out, Carla Passini singled and later scored on an SRC error. .

Sandy Huddle's life as an insurance claim investigator was comfortable, but it just never was what she really wanted to do. Huddle, 45, had gone to college to major in what she had seen as her dream career: TV production. During her sophomore year, her father died, and she left school to move back home. She figured she'd stay for about a year, weigh her options and eventually go back to school.Instead, she was thrilled to find a job. She stayed with the same company for more than 20 years, climbed the corporate ladder and relocated with the job to upstate New York. It seemed like this would be her life. Then, when faced with another relocation, Huddle, then a supervisor met, with her team to talk about their future.She started thinking seriously about her own."I was there talking to people about their dreams and goals and I ended up asking myself, 'What are your dreams and goals?' " Huddle said.
